Our Story

It all started by putting a bird on it. In 2012, I founded Sparrow Soirées, an event design and management boutique. Soon I realized many small businesses wanted more than event planning for a product launch or new store opening with a one-off online campaign — they were searching for sustainable marketing strategies that could evolve alongside their growth.

I shifted gears, updated services, and made digital marketing consulting — with a special focus on brand strategy, social media, and community-building — the heart of our work.

In 2019, Sparrow Soirées evolved into The Strategic Ampersand, a name reflecting our mission to help clients build brands balancing a strong digital presence with real-world connection.
